Situated in the Garrison Historic Area directly on Palm Beach 
(South Coast of the island), off the main road, Amaryllis Beach 
Resort is set on 5.5 acres (22,500 square meters) of prime beach-
front property with 150 meters of white, sandy beach. Enjoy safe 
swimming and snorkeling or take a stroll along the nature walk 
in the lovely tropical gardens. Located 1.5 miles (2.4 km) from 
Bridgetown, the capital of Barbados and 10 miles (16 km) from 
Grantley Adams International Airport, Amaryllis is the perfect 
choice for vacationers and business people alike. The Resort was 
refurbished and expanded in 2003. Amaryllis Beach Resort is part 
owner of the 18-hole championship Barbados Golf Club, a 15-minute 
drive away.  We are affiliated to Green Globe 21 and the Caribbean 
Alliance for Sustainable Tourism.  Amaryllis Beach Resort cares for 
the environment and enforces a non-smoking policy in all rooms and 
enclosed public areas. Amaryllis Beach Resort is located just 3 
minutes drive from the sister hotel, Allamanda Beach Hotel, a 
50-room, 3-star property and 5 minutes from the other sister 
hotel Sandy Bay Beach Club.

Gardenview Wheelchair, Same as hotel rooms with elevator access, 
located in one block with garden view, two double beds and a 
roll-in shower. These rooms were completed in 2003 and are

One Bedroom Garden View and One Bedroom Oceanfront offer
a kitchenette equipped with a four burner stove top, large

nights a week, buffet and a snack menu is available at the Turtle Nest
Beach on these nights.

The Chattel Plaza. This is a classy restaurant renowned 
for excellent food and is open for dinner and sometimes 
offers lunch. You can enjoy your meal in the cozy atmosphere 
of the restaurant or you can look down on the lovely gardens 
of the resort from the picturesque balcony.

The Coffee Bean Bistro, The Coffee Bean, is a coffee lover's
