Situated in the island chain of St. Vincent and The 
Grenadines, Palm Island is located on its own private 
100-acre island hideaway at the end of the Windward 
Island group of the Eastern Caribbean. The resort is 
accessible via the hotel's launch from Union Island, 
which is about a 10-minute ride. There are daily 
flights from Barbados to Union Island.

Palm View, approximately 450 square feet, Housed in two 
separate buildings set slightly back in the gardens.

Beachfront, approximately 320 square feet, These cottages 
are housed in ten separate buildings on the beach.

Plantation Suite, approximately 560 square feet, These rooms 
are housed in a two-story building set slightly back in the
gardens.
Bedding: 2 queen beds.

Island Loft, approximately 514 square feet, Three of the 
stilted island lofts are individual wooden cottages . Two
are housed in a shared wooden building on the beach.
Bedding: 2 queen beds or 1 king bed.

Accommodation amenities include: bathtub (deep soaking) and shower
(separate).

Two Bedroom Villa, approximately 4,000 sq. feet, A luxurious
villa.

All accommodations include: bathrobes, safe (in accommodation), balcony

FOOD AND BEVERAGE OUTLETS

Beachfront Bar, Most guests meet for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres
in this intimate bar.

Royal Palm Restaurant, This elegant restaurant sits right on the
white sands, every meal accompanied by ocean views and sea breezes.
Features Creole and Euro-Caribbean cuisine. Caribbean barbeque every
Friday night.

Cuisine: Creole, Caribbean, European.

Sunset Grill, This is the more informal beachfront restaurant.
Open to visiting yachtsmen, it offers an extensive lunch and dinner
menu, its tables are either inside or right on the sands. Serving
grill-type fare.

Please Note:
-This package is free with a minimum stay of 7 nights 
 or more in the Island Loft Room only.
-For all other stays there is a charge and client
 must pay transportation charge to St. Vincent's
 for paperwork
-Optional extras not included are: photographer,
 additional champagne for the wedding party, a
 background of island music, and video taping
 (optional extras are provided by the third-party
 independent contractors, and the resort is not 
 responsible for quality)
-The wedding ceremony is performed on Palm Island;
 however, a trip to St. Vincent is required to secure 
 proper legal documentation. Air transportation
 round-trip to St. Vincent and applicable airport
 transfers are not included in the wedding package. 
 An additional cost will therefore apply and must be 
 paid locally.
-All weddings are on a request only basis and can not
 be confirmed until the Time and Date has been confirmed
 by Elite Island Resorts.
-A full 24-hour waiting time is required before legal
 proceedings can begin.
-Couples must fly to the main island of St. Vincent for
 the day to attend the Ministry of Legal Affairs and
 complete and sign a declaration stating that the 
 information they are giving is correct.
-Please note the Ministry is not open on weekends or
 public holidays.
-If there is any doubt as to either person's single
 status, it may be necessary to swear an affidavit
 before a solicitor, which is at an additional cost.

MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION

General
-Please advise clients of the fact that guest rooms do 
 not have televisions or telephones. Television viewing 
 is available in a designated public areas only. 
-Worldwide telephone and fax facilities are available.

Air Transfers/Luggage - Important
-The luggage allowance is 44 pounds per person and due
 to the vagaries of inter-island flights, there is a
 possibility that a guest's luggage may not arrive at
 Palm Island at the same time the guest arrives. Therefore,
 we require all Tour Operators to notify all guests booked 
 to Palm Island to pack a carry-on bag with a change of
 clothes and necessary toiletries in the event their luggage
 does not arrive at Palm Island until the following day. 

Passport Requirements
-US Citizens traveling to and from the Caribbean
 require a valid passport to regain entry into
 the United States.

Free Roundtrip Air Transfer 2008
On stays of 7 nights or longer, Elite will pay guest air
transportation from Barbados on scheduled air with Grenadines
Airways (GAL). The ticket will be collected upon arrival in 
Barbados. The Florida office can confirm air reservations, and
will require the client's credit card at confirmation if staying 
less than 7 nights.

Palm Island will book the Barbados flight from the Florida 
office International arrival and departure details must be 
noted on original reservation request along with the final
manifest lists.  Palm Island will book the best connecting 
flights from BGI to international services.

A Palm Island representative will meet and assist guests
upon arrival into Barbados. Guests will NOT clear customs
in Barbados, but will proceed to the inter-island flight 
desk. All luggage will be collected and transferred to 
the Union Island flight. Guests will clear customs on Union 
Island flight and proceed to the boat jetty for the transfer 
to Palm Island (transfer is included). 

Palm Island will advise all guests of their departure 
time from Palm Island on the homeward journey and will 
be transferred to the airport by Palm Island personnel.
 
NOTE: In order for same day transfers to Union Island, 
guests must arrive in Barbados no later than 4:00pm. Guests 
arriving later than 4:00pm will have to stay overnight in 
Barbados at guest's expense. Charges for flights may apply 
to missed connections. Palm Island can not be held accountable 
for the late arrival of incoming international services. 
Amendments may incur additional charges. Cancellation will 
incur full costs.

Destination Information - Important
-Please advise all clients traveling to Barbados: 
 That the wearing of camouflage or military apparel 
 is illegal, and clothing will be confiscated and
 persons will be charged accordingly.

Dress Code
-Please advise clients of Palm Island the resort's 
 dress code. In the restaurants, shoes are worn and 
 bathing suits covered. After 6:30pm, men wear shirts 
 with collars and short or long sleeves (no t-shirts 
 or tank tops), slacks. Tailored Bermuda-length shorts 
 are allowed for men in summer season; and women wear 
 dresses, skirts, slacks, culottes or tailored Bermuda-
 length shorts (no 'short shorts' or cutoffs). No jeans 
 for men or women in the evenings.
