Playacar Palace offers non-motorized water sports at 
Beach Club Maroma. A complimentary bus, with round-trip 
service, is available from Monday through Saturday with one 
daily departure. At Maroma Beach Club, guests have access to 
the club's facilities, towels, lounge chairs, and kayaks. 
Services such as food, beverages, tours and gift shop items 
have an additional cost. Guests must make their reservations 
at the Palace Vacation Planners desks.

Please Note:
Playacar Palace:
-The Bride and Groom must arrive to the Resort 3 business days prior to the
 ceremony.
-Ceremony location: Terrace (can accommodate up to 40 guests) or Solarium area.
 If Solarium area is chosen, a cd player is not provided. Please check with the onsite
 wedding planner for costs associated.
-Legal/Civil ceremonies are performed in Spanish only. Interpreter for ceremony can
 be provided.
-Administrative/Government fee of $300.00 USD will be applied to all civil
 ceremonies performed by a judge in addition to package cost. Translation
 fees for documents will be charged at the resort according to documents and
 number of pages.
-Symbolic weddings are not legally binding ceremonies.
-Depending on selection of requested flowers, additional costs may apply. Please
 note our onsite flower selection highly depends on the time of year as well as 
 our weekly floral imports. Certain flowers may not be available.
-Wedding cake included in our collections will be customized for number of guests
 attending ceremony.
-In the case of inclement weather, fireworks presentation will not be extended. No
 credits will be adjusted.
-Musicians's selection is subject to availability.
-Decor included in the collections will be extended exclusively for the ceremony.
-Dinner reservations at selected restaurants up to 35 guests. If you have more
 guests, a private function can be purchased. 
-Photography packages are ready within 72 business hours.
-Upon check-in couples are required to proceed towards the Honeymoon desk in
 order to reconfirm their honeymoon package amenities.
-A penalty of $300.00 USD will be charged to credit card if reservation is cancelled
 within 45 days of the wedding date. 

Please Note:
Document requirements for Symbolic/Vow Renewel ceremonies:
-Picture identification of each one
-Home address and occupation for each one
-Marriage certificate
-Bride and groom must arrive in Cancun at least 3 working days (Monday-Saturday)
 prior to the wedding ceremony to meet with the wedding planner and submit all
 documents. Bride and Groom must arrive to the resort by check-in time (3:00pm)
 or earlier in order to consider day of arrival towards requirement.

Please Note:
Documents required for Civil/Legal ceremonies:
-Home address and occupations (bride and groom)
-Birth certificates (certified copy of each one)
-Valid passports
-Original blood test (to determine Blood type, H.I.V. and S.T.D). Tests must be taken
 at the resort and results are ready within 24 hours (fee of approximately $50.00 per
 person applies). If test is positive, wedding cannot be performed.
-Certified copy of former spouse's death certificate (if applicable)*
-If divorced, a certified copy of divorce decree is required. If divorced more than once,
 please bring each divorce decree. If divorced less than a year, a mandatory 
 pregnancy test must be taken. Additional fees are associated. If test is positive,           
 wedding cannot be performed (if applicable).
-Certified copy of adoption papers (if applicable)
-Certified copy of name change document*. All name change documents must be
 translated to Spanish (if applicable).
-Tourist ID (provided by customs upon your arrival at Cancun International Airport).
 Please be sure to complete all information correctly on tourist ID, otherwise you may
 need to obtain a new Tourist ID at the Airport.
-Name, age, nationality, home address, occupation, passport, and tourist ID of 4
 witnesses. Witnesses must arrive 2 working days (Monday-Saturday) prior to 
 ceremony. Witnesses must be 18 years or older. If witnesses are not available, 
 Palace Resorts will provide them at no additional cost.
-Bride and Groom must arrive in Cancun at least 3 working days (Monday-Saturday) 
 prior to the wedding ceremony to meet the wedding coordinator and submit all
 documents. Bride and Groom must be at the resort by check-in time (3:00pm) or
 earlier in order to consider day of arrival as the first day.
-The Bride and Groom must not be legally married in order to qualify for our civil
 ceremonies. If they are already married, a symbolic ceremony can be performed.
-Important - if the Bride or Groom's nationality is Mexican, additional documents are
 required. Please advise your wedding sales coordinator. 

Please note the Birth Certificates, Divorce Decrees, Death Certificates, adoption
and name change documents become the property of the State of Quintana Roo,
Mexico.

A marriage certificate is provided by the State of Quintana Roo, Mexico for Civil
ceremonies, this is a legal document issued in Spanish. All wedding couples must
contact their local court house for filling requirements. Every State/Country is
different when it comes to filling of foreign marriage documents. Some state/
countries require the certificates to be translated from Spanish to English others
may require additional paper work to be filled. This is the couples' responsibility
and Palace Resorts is not liable for any additional charges that may be associated 
according to the state/country's requirements on supplementary paperwork.

Ceremony cannot be performed unless all documents are in order (no exceptions).
All documents with the exception of passports become the property of the State of
Quintana Roo, Mexico.

All documents must be translated into Spanish at the resort. In order to do this all,
documents presented must be issued in English. If Birth Certificates are not issued
in English, please notify your wedding planner. Additional paperwork will apply.
Cost may very depending on number of pages per document.

-The number of nights booked equals the number of total
 rounds of golf passengers will receive (one round of golf
 daily per room). This means that if 2 clients are traveling
 for 7 nights, for example, they will receive 7 rounds of
 golf total, so either one (1) can use all the rounds or
 both can golf at the same time until they've reached the
 total 7 rounds of golf entitled to.

RESERVATIONS INFORMATION
Tee times may be reserved 30 days in advance at the 
Playacar Spa &; Golf Club by either fax or e-mail. Please 
send all requests to :

Guests will be required to arrange round trip 
transportation to the golf course and pick up their
Golf vouchers at least 1 day prior to their tee-time
reservation at the Chaza Travel hospitality desk,
located in the lobby. Guests will not be allowed to
play without a Golf Voucher.

Tee-times must be cancelled at least 48 hours in
advance to avoid a $20.00 USD no-show fee. Fee will
be charged as an incidental charge to the guest's
hotel bill.

Single Parent Policy
All reservations reported as 1 adult/1 child
or 1 adult/2 children or 1 adult/ 3 children
will be entered in the system as follows:
-Reported as 1 adult &; 1 child = entered as 2 adults.
-Reported as 1 adult &; 2 children = entered as 2 adults/1 child.
-Reports as 1 adult &; 3 children = entered as 2 adults/2 children.

Above policy is not applicable to group bookings.
