Distance from airport is 50 miles, and distance from beach 
is 55 miles.

The Lodge at Uxmal is a step beyond the Mayaland concept 
of upscale accommodations in a traditional setting. The 
Lodge offers total immersion in the Yucatan-Maya experience: 
an enclave of untamed nature in the shadow of ancient Uxmal, 
thatch roofed villas that seem an extension of the landscape
and archaeologist excavating on the grounds. The Lodge brings 
you the land and its people: Yucatan yesterday and today.  
The lodge is just 100 feet from the entrance to Uxmal and 
the villas look out over a central courtyard flanked by 
patches of emerald lawn, acacia and wild tamarind trees.  
Exploration of the grounds can be done on foot. From the 
hotel, the view of the Pyramid of the Magician is spectacular 
and a constant reminder of the glory of Uxmal.
