The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua has completed a $180 million 
transformation, offering 463 fully-renovated guestrooms, 
including 107 Residential Suites, featuring dark wood floors, 
new travertine marble bathrooms, flat screen LCD televisions 
and Hawaiian inspired artwork. The new Ritz-Carlton Spa, 
Kapalua features treatment rooms with private garden showers, 
volcanic stone grottos, steam rooms, saunas and whirlpools, 
outdoor couple's hale (cabanas) and a fitness center and 
movement studio with spectacular ocean views. The new 
Ambassadors of the Environment program offers a variety of 
outdoor activities with trained naturalists. The resort also 
features six restaurants, renovated meeting space, a new 
children's pool and luxury cabanas. The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua 
is located on 54 acres in the midst of the 23,000 acre 
Kapalua Resort, featuring two championship courses, 
restaurants and a historic pineapple plantation.

Spa
The 17,500 square foot spa features 15 treatment rooms 
with half opening to private outdoor shower gardens and all 
with iPod docking stations with pre-programmed music 
selections and robe warmers. The spa also features two 
outdoor couples' hale (cabanas), men's and women's 
relaxation areas with the depiction of lava stone grotto 
areas, steam rooms, saunas and whirlpools, and the only 
coed indoor/outdoor relaxation area in Hawaii with a 
whirlpool overlooking a taro patch garden. The new Fitness 
Center features dramatic views of the Pacific Ocean and the 
latest state of the art equipment. The Fitness Center is 
available 24 hours daily through room key access and 
provides a range of fitness classes including yoga and 
Pilates. 

Miscellaneous Amenities
Jean Michel's Ambassadors of the Environment Program:
Environmental and cultural education center with excursions 
led by expert naturalists. Guests will hike through the 
Hawaiian rainforest, snorkel among Maui's beautiful coral 
reefs and participate in underwater photography sessions, 
always exploring the relevance of Hawaiian culture. The 
program is dedicated to engaging people of all ages with the 
natural and cultural environment and at The Ritz-Carlton, 
Kapalua, and will create opportunities for each participant 
to learn about Hawaii's unique ecosystems and nurture 
exploration of alternatives for a sustainable future.  

Kapalua Adventures:
Adventurous spirits will enjoy the new Kapalua Adventure 
Center and Mountain Outpost. The Adventure Center is 
complete with retail shopping, an organic cafe, activity 
concierge and complimentary evening activities. World class 
activities are available including zipline tours, a 
challenge course, climbing tower, hiking and water 
adventures. The Outpost features a 3000 square foot 
pavilion and observation deck and two suspension bridges 
over natural ravines.

Royal Pacific Suite(*), The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua has one 
Royal Pacific Suite located on the top floor of the hotel 
with direct frontal views of the Pacific Ocean. 2550 square 
feet including a 580 square foot living area, 294 square 
foot dining room and full kitchen featuring a handsome 
gathering 'Calabash' table, sub-zero refrigerator, freezer, 
stove, microwave and dishwasher. Two marble bathrooms with 
separate showers and a jet bathtub. 1064 square foot 
oceanfront private lanai. 2 rollaway beds are permitted in
this category.

The Ritz-Carlton Club Level Rooms
The Ritz-Carlton Club Level is a 'hotel within a hotel' and 
is privately accessed by special elevator keys. The Club 
Level guestrooms also feature Hawaiian inspired decor and 
artwork, dark wood floors and contemporary furnishings to bring 
in the colors and feel of the natural surroundings.  Each Club 
Level guest room features a new marble bathroom featuring a shower 
and separate bath, double vanities, a weighted scale, a make-up 
mirror, a hair dryer and luxurious bathroom essentials. Guest
room amenities include LCD flat-screen televisions, wireless 
Internet access, complimentary in-room safe, honor bar, coffee 
maker with complimentary coffee packets, clock radio, CD player, 
iron and ironing board, plush terry robes for ladies and gentlemen, 
blackout drapes, and three telephones, two telephones have dual 
lines and an additional data port for computer and fax capability.
Other amenities specific to the Club Level include:

The Ritz-Carlton Club Suites
The Ritz-Carlton Club Suites are One Bedroom Suites that are 
900 square feet in size, including a 300 square foot lanai 
that spans the width of the room. They have an elegantly 
furnished, large living room, and French doors connecting the 
master bedroom.  These suites are located on The Ritz-Carlton 
Club Level, which provides privacy as well as the Club Level 
amenities listed above. These Suites offer two marble bathrooms, 
with the master bathroom featuring a marble shower, separate bath, 
double vanities and a weighted scale while the second bathroom 
offers a single vanity and marbled shower. Both bathrooms have 
make-up mirrors, hair dryers and upgraded luxurious bathroom 
essentials.  Like Club Level guestrooms, room amenities include 
an LCD flat-screen television, wireless Internet access, 
complimentary in-room safe, honor bar, coffee maker with 
complimentary coffee packets, clock radio, CD player, IPod 
docking station, iron and ironing board, plush terry robes for 
ladies and gentlemen, black out drapes, five telephones (three 
telephones with dual lines and an additional data port for 
computer capability).  The Ritz-Carlton Club Suite also 
features an in-room fax machine.  The views vary from 
ocean view to garden/golf/mountain view.


Residential Suites:
The Residential Suites feature private kitchens, new marble 
bathrooms with separate showers and deep soaking tubs, 
flat screen plasma televisions, spacious living rooms and 
private lanais. Residential Suites are available in garden 
view, ocean view and ocean front accommodations.

Steeped in traditional Hawaiian culture, kitchens in each 
Residential Suite unit feature a handsome gathering 'Calabash' 
table, named after the traditional wooden bowls for storing 
poi, where families can come together and forge new traditions 
and memories. Private kitchens also include a microwave, 
refrigerator, freezer and dishwasher.

Kai Sushi Restaurant, offering fresh sushi and Japanese cuisine,
featuring a new restaurant space to the left of the lobby with a design
inspired by the story of the native Hawaiians' arrival across the sea.
Kai Sushi features hand carved ceiling beams that recall the shapes of
the outrigger canoes. The glowing back of the sushi bar and carved wood
columns are inspired by traditional Hawaiian art forms in print. The
warm tones of wood, woven grasses, honed plaster and gold-hued stone set
a natural tableau for the bright colors of the fresh sushi delicacies.

The Alaloa Lounge, The Alaloa Lounge The Ritz Carlton, Kapalua
offers an extensive menu of specialty cocktails, domestic and imported
beers, premium spirits and signature appetizers and desserts. The Alaloa
Lounge also now offers a casual lunch menu. With its breathtaking views
of the Pacific Ocean, The Alaloa Lounge is the place to view the Maui
sunset, enjoy an informal lunch or, from December to April, enjoy whale
watching. A spacious lanai offers outdoor seating or guests may choose
to sit inside to enjoy the entertainment in the evenings.

The Banyan Tree, Pacific Rim cuisine, serving breakfast, lunch,
dinner and Sunday brunch.

The Pool Bar &; Cafe, pool attire, snacks, lunch and beverages.

The Terrace(*), breakfast and dinner, casual family style
restaurant. On Friday there is a seafood buffet featuring chilled
prawns, crab claws and oysters on the half shell, smoked salmon, an
array of sushi and sashimi, lomi lomi salmon, scallops, steamed clams

INCLUSIONS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE

Very Important Keiki (V.I.K. Program) - Children's Program
The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua has implemented the complimentary 
V.I.K. (Very Important Keiki) program. Special welcome 
amenities and activities make even the youngest guests feel 
like they are a valued member of The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua 
'ohana (family).

From the time of arrival, children are welcomed and 
presented with a special Ritz Kids button to wear 
throughout their stay. In addition to being recognized as a 
V.I.K, a guest relations representative will take a keepsake 
photograph of the child upon arrival.

During the check-in process, families are presented with a 
scavenger hunt to complete together, encouraging exploration 
of the resort's facilities and amenities. In addition, 
questions such as 'What is the name of the state bird of 
Hawaii, which is found in Maui??' and 'What do you call a 
Hawaiian dance that tells a story??'* prompt children to ask 
questions of employees to learn about the host culture. Upon 
completion of the hunt, children may redeem their completed 
form and select a prize from a treasure chest at the front 
desk.  

Turndown becomes a special occasion for children as well. A 
personalized card including the photograph of the V.I.K. is 
placed upon the child's bed in the evening along with a 
plush toy honu, or green sea turtle, one of Maui's most 
beloved ocean inhabitants.

In addition to the V.I.K. program, The Ritz Kids program 
offers children seven days of fun-filled adventures, arts 
and crafts and island exploration with a different theme for 
each day of the week such as 'Aloha Friday' or 'Hawaiian 
Nature Day.' The program is available for children ages 5 
through 12 and is fully certified by the state of Hawaii.  
Weekly Kid's Night Out activities offer evening fun while 
mom and dad enjoy an evening alone together.

Smoke Free Hotel
Effective October 16, 2006, the Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua 
became a 'smoke-free environment', including all guest 
rooms, restaurants, lounges, meeting rooms and public 
spaces. The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua is dedicated to 
providing a clean, comfortable and relaxing environment 
for guests. The new smoke-free environment policy is a 
result of strong preference expressed by the vast 
majority of our guests.

To accommodate the needs of guests who smoke, the hotel  
offers special designated smoking areas outside the building.
