The Barcelo Bavaro Beach Resort is located 12 miles away from 
Punta Cana's International Airport, an hour away from La 
Romana's International Airport and 2.5 hours away from Las 
Americas International Airport in Santo Domingo. Main roads 
can easily access the historic Santo Domingo City in about 3.5 
hours. Bavaro Beach has a tropical climate with an average 
temperature of 80* F to 86*F all year around, and is always 
touched by a gentle and fresh sea breeze, which calms the 
warm temperatures. 

There are several natural parks for outdoor lovers such as 
Los Haitises, and several semi-desert islands like Saona 
Island and Catalina Island. If you are more interested in a 
mix of native and/or culture, you will love Altos de Chavon 
in La Romana and the City of Santo Domingo.

Without a doubt, one of the major strengths of our Resort is 
the gastronomy. There are 14 restaurants distributed 
throughout the 5 Hotels in the complex. The 5 Hotels as a 
whole, better known as Barcelo Bavaro Beach Resort, counts 
with:
-7 Thematic Restaurants of different specialties: Mexican,
 Italian, Dominican, barbeque-grill, sea food and a steak
 house.
-5 Buffet Restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
-2 Gourmet Restaurants 'a la carte', one French and one
 Spanish (both have additional cost)

It is essential to mention that 2 of these restaurants are 
located directly on the beach, and 3 others are right beside 
it offering spectacular sunrise and sunset views. The 
clients from the Barcelo Bavaro Palace can enjoy all the 
facilities and services of the 5 hotels in the complex.

The Barcelo Bavaro Palace Hotel was opened in 1993. It is 
one of the favorite hotels for most of the tourists in the 
Punta Cana area. It has 558 rooms of which 27 are Suites 
and 9 are Master Suites. The rooms are distributed in 6 
buildings of 3 floors, each of them with elevators. All of 
these rooms are equipped with a balcony, air conditioning, 
satellite TV, a mini bar, coffee maker, telephone, 
safe-deposit box, 1 or 2 beds and a fully equipped bathroom 
with hair dryer. The views vary depending on the location, 
but each one of them will impress the most demanding client
(ocean, swimming pool, tropical gardens). The voltage is 110V.

The Barcelo Bavaro Palace Hotel is located on the first line 
of the beach. It has an ideal atmosphere for all tastes, it 
is quiet for honeymoon couples, informal for youngsters and  
secure and enjoyable for families with children.

La Brisa Seafood Restaurant, a la carte (All-In), serving a wide
variety of fish and seafood dishes. Open from 12:30pm-4:00pm &; from

La Fuente Restaurant(*), A la carte, gourmet authentic Spanish
cuisine. Formal to Casual dress code (no shorts) and reservations are
required. Located at the Barcelo Bavaro Golf &; Casino. This restaurant
is not on the All Inclusive Program. Guests will have to pay a
supplement of $20.00 USD per person.
