From the moment guests arrive at this secluded 
boutique hotel in the Punta Cana area, they are 
enveloped in an atmosphere of tranquility inspired 
by design elements rooted in Asian tradition of 
incorporating water into daily existence. The check-
in desk is situated in an open-air lobby where a wood-
paneled walkway surrounded by two small pools of water 
lilies and sea turtles leads guests to the property's 
spectacular ocean view and elegant accommodations. A 
special focal point of the lobby is the 17th century 
hand-carved wooden archway that encases the entrance 
to the hotel's boutique where traditional Dominican 
art sculptures adorn windows. The resort's overall 
design concept artistically combines the indigenous 
Dominican culture with the style and traditions of a 
Polynesian paradise.  

Most of the furnishings for the property's guestrooms, 
food and beverage outlets, meetings facilities and 
restaurants were specially selected and imported from 
Spain and Indonesia. Guest services and amenities are 
tailored to surpass even the most upscale travelers' 
expectations.   

All guestrooms offer a separate dressing area with mahogany 
wood vanity and porcelain basin, a spacious bath area that 
includes an oversized soaking tub for two and a floor-to-
ceiling glass encased double-jet showers outfitted in coral.  

Each suite has an intimate separate living area with handmade 
Indonesian rattan furniture, surround-sound plasma screen 
televisions with satellite channels, CD and DVD players, 
complimentary mini-bar with refreshments and beverages and a 
wine cooler stocked with vintages from the resort's Wine Cellar 
for purchase. Oceanfront suites offer private plunge pools set 
in teak wood decking, private outdoor showers and coral wall 
privacy partitions.
