Distance from Airport to Hotel, 15 miles (24 kms). 

The Bitter End is a world-renowned watersports resort, as 
well as being a relaxing environment which enables creative 
thinking for corporate retreats, multiple activities to 
enhance team building, and peaceful settings for family 
reunions, weddings, and honeymoons. The resort stretches 
one mile on the northern tip of Virgin Gorda, facing the 
North Sound and the Atlantic Ocean and all 75 shore-side 
accommodations are scattered throughout tropical gardens 
and offer panoramic ocean views. The continuous trade winds 
make sailing conditions almost ideal; they'll also keep your 
hammock swaying gently and allow cool breezes to flow 
through your beachfront villa. The reefs that surround 
the British Virgin Islands provide spectacular snorkeling 
and diving, as well as scrumptious seafood dishes to 
choose from on the full American Plan. During the clients'
visit, they can select to go on daily-guided excursions
or can explore surrounding islands with a picnic in tow on 
their own. The club fleet of 100 boats satisfies everyone's 
taste. Windsurfing and kayaking are also popular options.

Recommended Route:
We recommend booking to Tortola's Beef Island airport (EIS) 
and connecting with the North Sound Express, high-speed 
ferry for a 30-minute scenic trip direct to Bitter End.

Children Policy: 
-Bitter End Yacht Club is best suited for children 
 over 5 years of age.
-Children under 2 years of age stay and eat
 free, when sharing a room with their parents.
-Children 2-12 years of age incur an additional
 fee, when sharing a room with their parents and
 must dine from the children's menu in food and 
 beverage outlets. Children who order from the 
 adult menu will be charged adult fees.
-18 years and older is considered as adult.

Premium Beachfront Villas  - 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.
North Sound Suites         - 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Beachfront Villa, completely renovated in 2008, the Beachfront 
Villas offer the ultimate authentic island experience. The resort's 
original Caribbean style rooms are perfectly situated to catch the 
trade wind breezes and each one has breathtaking panoramic views 
of the Atlantic Ocean and North Sound. Each is designed with wrap-
around private verandas, large showers with sea views and relaxing 
hammocks and just steps from the beach, the Vita course and hiking 
trail and the Clubhouse Steak and Seafood Grille and Bar.

Premium Beachfront Villas(*), A selection of the beachfront Villas 
have had further enhancements that set them apart: Air conditioning 
and the most idyllic location (steps from the sand and most convenient 
to the activities and restaurants). Of course, all of the same features 
and amenities come with the Premium Beachfront Villas including: 
wrap around private verandas, large showers with sea views, relaxing 
hammocks and 180-degree views of the Atlantic Ocean and North 
Sound.
Bedding: 1 king bed or 2 twin beds. 

North Sound Suite, these waterfront rooms with expansive 
balconies are built among tropical flowering gardens and feature 
vistas overlooking the North Sound and the Caribbean Sea. The 
oversized rooms offer individually remote controlled air 
conditioning with spacious marble bathrooms attached to large 
private outdoor showers. Each suite has been thoughtfully 
situated on the Virgin Gorda hillside for maximum privacy and 
grouped in pairs, perfect for families or friends who wish to 
adjoin. Enjoy a shared footpath to the nearby beach, pool and 
English Carvery.
Bedding: 1 king bed or 2 queen beds. 

Estate House(*), The recently redecorated two-
bedroom cottage is a favorite of the Hokin Family - Bitter End's 
owners for 30 years! The cottage features stunning ocean and 
mountain views. Beautifully designed with a spacious dining area 
and wet bar, and complete with two and a half bathrooms. The 
Master bedroom features one king bed and the guest bedroom 
features two double beds. The Estate House can accommodate 
four adults and two children, with the addition of two rollaway 
beds. Enjoy the oversized screened in porch and Sea View 
balcony area with a barbecue grill. All situated on a flowering 
hillside overlooking the activity of the resort and North Sound, 
and easily accessible by taxi via paved driveway. The Estate 
House is based on quad occupancy.

The following amenities are complimentary based upon request 
and availability: alarm clocks, sewing kits, hair dryers, 
irons and boards (Television and VCR's in the North Sound 
Suites only).

FOOD AND BEVERAGE OUTLETS

The Clubhouse Bar,, Happy Hour is from 5:00pm-6:30pm on the
Terrace.

English Carvery is open for dinner.

The Poolside Lunch And Bar Service, The bar is located at the
south end of Bitter End, beside the freshwater pool. An entire day can
be pleasantly spent by the pool with a light salad for lunch and a
cocktail late afternoon. Lunch is available from 12:15 until 2:00pm
every day except Sunday. Closed September and October.

The Emporium Pub &; Grill, For those wanting a snack during the
day, rotisserie, pizza, chicken, hot-dogs and other items may be
purchased in The English Pub, located at The Emporium, opposite the
Quarterdeck Club. Please Note: That these items are not included in your
meal plan.

The Almond Walk(*), Available for dinner certain evenings during
the week. Please inquire at the Reception Desk or consult your weekly
schedule.

Dinner Hours: 6:30pm-9:30pm

The Clubhouse Steak &; Seafood Grille, The Clubhouse is Bitter
Ends landmark restaurant and features generous buffets and table service
for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as cocktail service on the
terrace all day and evening. The Clubhouse is near the Main Lobby.

The English Carvery(*), This beautiful open-air restaurant,
located on the south end of the property, is open for dinner during the
Winter Season and for special evening events. Please inquire at the
Reception Desk or consult your weekly schedule. The Carvery features
salad served table side, followed by a magnificent selection of roast
meats and a local seafood dish on the buffet. Reservations are requested
for the 6:30pm and 8:30pm seating.

A beach attendant is available on the North Beach by the 
Almond Walk to serve drinks when you are lounging by the sea.

Please be advised: The last ferry departs at 7:30pm 
from Beef Island Airport and the first ferry departs 
at 6:45am from the Bitter End. Therefore, arrivals 
after 7:30pm or before 6:45am are subject to an 
additional surcharge per person payable upon arrival.
