DINING
ETRUSCA, Welcome to Etrusca, the home of authentic Tuscan
cuisine in New York. The dcor of this restaurant evokes
the atmosphere of an Italian village. Terra cotta, limestone,
marble and natural woods are used throughout the dining room,
accented with artifacts from Tuscany. On the menu, you'll
find hand-made pastas and risottos, succulent roasts, fresh
seafood and seasonal specialties made with traditional
ingredients such as ten-year-old balsamic vinegar, aged
prosciutto and parmesan cheese. Our wine list offers some
of Tuscany's most celebrated wines as well as rare
selections from other Italian wine regions and quality
domestic offerings. Etrusca is located at 125 West 53rd
Street, just west of Avenue of the Americas. There also
is an entrance from the hotel lobby. Open daily: 5:30-11pm.
A TASTE OF NEW YORK, The many ethnic neighborhoods of
New York City are represented in the open-air atmosphere
of the New York Marketplace. Our restaurant's design
features skylights, caf umbrellas, bistro furniture,
a wood-fired pizza oven, authentic Chinese woks, a
display kitchen and a 44-foot buffet. Aged stone and
brick-finished walls create the effect of two townhouses
at each end of the restaurant. Raised above the main
dining floor, these sections can provide seating for
private parties. Our menu presents a delicious sampling
of the many ethnic cuisines found in New York.
An American breakfast buffet, Japanese breakfast buffet,
and an international lunch buffet are offered, with a
la carte service also available. Dinner is a la carte,
with tempting desserts created by Hilton New York's
Pastry Chef.
