If test is positive, wedding cannot be performed. • Certified copy of former spouse's Death Certificate (if applicable)* • If divorced, a certified copy of Divorce Decree is required. If divorced more than once, please bring each certified Divorce Decree. A full year must elapse from date of the divorce's final dissolution from the previous spouse in order to perform civil ceremony. • Legal documentation of adoption or name change (if applicable)*. Certified copy is required. • Tourist ID (provided by customs upon your arrival at Puerto Vallarta International Airport). • Name, age, nationality, home address, occupation, passport and tourist ID of 4 witnesses. If witnesses are not available, Palace Resorts will provide them at no additional cost. • The parents of the couple cannot serve as witnesses to the marriage. All witnesses must be 18 years of age or older in order to qualify. • Bride and Groom must arrive in Vallarta, Nayarit at least 4 business days (Monday- Saturday) prior to the wedding ceremony to meet the wedding coordinator and submit all documents. Bride and Groom must be at the resort by check-in time (3:00pm) or earlier in order to consider day of arrival as the first day. • The Bride and Groom must not be legally married in order to qualify for any of our wedding packages. If they are already married, symbolic ceremony packages are available. • Important - if Bride or Groom's nationality is Mexican, additional documents are required. A marriage certificate is provided by the State of Nayarit, Mexico for civil ceremonies, this is a legal document issued in Spanish. All wedding couples must contact their local court house for filling requirements. Every state/country is different when it comes to filling of foreign marriage documents. Some states/countries require the certificates to be translated from Spanish to English others may require additional paper work to be filled. This is the couples' responsibility and Palace Resorts is not liable for any additional charges that may be associated to the state/country's requirements on supplementary paperwork. Single Parent Policy A single parent traveling with a child must be booked as a double. Kid's Club The Kid's Club is open daily for children 4 to 12 years old. Parents can drop them off between the working hours and lunch and dinner is provided to the kids if they are at the kid's club during lunch or dinner. It is about the size of a classroom and has toys and elements to keep the kids entertained aside from the program that is detailed in the attachment.
