Departure by coach to Fiesole, a delightful town of Etruscan origin situated on the hills that dominate Florence and the Arno Valley. We will come back to the historic center of Florence and will stop for a visit to the Franciscan Church of Santa Croce (external visit). Walking through the historic streets of Florence we reach the famous Piazza della Signoria, to admire the marvellous Palazzo Vecchio (external visit) and the beautiful Loggia del Lanzi. The tour continues with a guided tour of the famous Galleria Degli Uffizi* where we can admire the original paintings of Botticelli, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Raffaello, Giotto, Cimabue, Masaccio. *The gallery is closed on Monday. The Region of Tuscany is famous all over the World not only for art, but also for nature, little villages,vineyards and gentle hills. With this excursion, you will have the chance to spend a relaxful afternoon; you will be enchanted by the colors and perfumes of the Chiantigiana countryside. Here all the streets lead to a cellar, to a castle or to a farm. Our visit will start in a typical “Greve in Chianti” village, where we will have free time to explore the typical paths and enjoy some tasty ice-cream in the picturesque square. Our visit will continue in the heart of the vineyards, in a prestigious farm, where we will be hosted and offered a tasty snack based on “crostinitoscani”, “olio extravergine di oliva” and delicate “Vino Chianti” tasting.

Drive by coach to Piazzale Michelangelo to admire the wonderful panoramic view of the city. Going back to the old center for the walking tour of the historical center. The tour will continue with the guided visit of the Duomo Complex: Giotto's bell tower (external visit), the Baptistery with its bronze doors including the famous Porta del Paradiso, and the internal visit of the Cathedral* with the magnificent Cupola of Cupola of Brunelleschi. Walking through the heart of Florence we will reach the Galleria Dell 'Accademia** to admire David by Michelangelo and other works by the great artist. *Cannot be visited on Sundays, bank and public holidays. **Closed on Monday. A magnificent excursion through the fertile Tuscan countryside to the historic city of Pisa which was one of the known four Marine Republics. After the panoramic drive the tour continues with a guided visit of the famous Piazza dei Miracoli; the Leaning Tower, the Baptistery, and other important monuments. Before leaving the city we will visit the Cathedral, a masterpiece of Romanesque art built between the 11th and 12th century. Return to Florence. The guided tour will continue to the Piazza del Campo, one of the most beautiful in the world with the majestic Palazzo Comunale. Free time for lunch (not included). Departure to San Gimignano, a tiny city that has remained intact across the centuries and famous for its medieval towers and other art treasures. Situated on a hilltop, offers a magnificent view of the valley. Time at leisure to discover this fascinating city and return to Florence.
